"After being involved with and caring for 5 wolf - dog hybreds in rescue situations, I finally had one, named Luther, that could no longer interact in society and I had to make the choice to either have him destroyed or take him to live in a more isolated environment. My choice was easy.

"I had heard of Fred Keating through friends three years before and had gone to visit the Loki-Clan Wolf Refuge when it was still a few pens in Fred's back yard. I gave Fred a call. Luther and I went for a visit to the facility in Chatam, New Hampshire.

"Luther became a part of Loki-Clan Wolf Refuge. He has lived a long, peaceful and happy life there. Sometimes in a pack environment and sometimes taking care of older or younger animals, Luther has found himself a happy, healthy home.

"Although I still miss Luther tremendously, I know he is in the best of all possible situations and will be welcome at the Loki-Clan until the day he takes the final walk.
